Hillsboro boys and girls track and field will be returning 14 players from last year.

On the girls side, two-year letter winner and two-time state qualifier D’myia Cox will be looked upon to bring her leadership and experience to the team.

Last year’s letter winner Moriah Jost will lead a talented young group of distance runners.

Other key returners for the girls side are Karley Loewen, Abbi Williams, Haddie Breugem, Gabbie Arnold, Kenzie Meisinger, and Mariah LaPlante.

On the boys side, last year’s letter winners making their return include Seth Driggers, Nicholas Cunningham, Anders Weisbeck, Deon Weeks, Zachary Denholm, and Angel Rivera.

“As the track season kicks off, the team will look upon a group of seniors to lead a very young talented team,” coach Demetrius Cox said. “We are looking to have a positive and successful season.”
