Treva Bogart

Treva O. Bogart, 90, died Friday at Asbury Park, Newton.

A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Leon Cemetery, Leon. 

She was born Nov. 20, 1925, to James and Naomi Bloom in Leon, Kansas.

She was 84 when she retired as a housekeeper at Asbury Park. 

She married Elmer Earl Bogart on June 8, 1946. He preceded her in death in 1973.

She also was preceded by siblings James Bloom, Lila Whiteside, and Naomi Schell.

Survivors include sons,  Earl Calvin Bogart of Salina and David Eugene Bogart, Valley Center; daughters,  Jeannine Van Hooser, Orrick, Missouri, Trula Crum, Newton, and Diana Bogart, Hillsboro; sister, Loretta Britt of Atlanta; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. 

A memorial fund has been established for the Arthritis Foundation.
