Students named to dean's list, honor rolls

Four students will share student of the month honors at Hillsboro High School.

Eva Franz, Marah Franz, Callie Linnens, and Caleb Rempel are January’s winners, selected by faculty and staff.

Eva, daughter of Scott and Pam Franz, is involved in youth group, volleyball, basketball, track and field, and fall musical. She enjoys reading, crafts, movies, and playing games. She wants to major in physical therapy.

Marah, daughter of Scott and Pam Franz, is involved with volleyball, basketball, track, Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church youth group, fall musical, choir, and band. She enjoys reading, playing games with her family, and listening to music. She plans to attend Tabor and participate in track.

Linnens, daughter of Kelly and Julie Linnens, is involved with volleyball, basketball, track, fall musical, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and First Mennonite Church youth group. She enjoys reading, playing sports, and lifeguarding. She wants to attend the University of Kansas to become a pharmacist.

Rempel, son of Robert and Sara Rempel, is involved in youth group, FCA, fall musical, spring play, forensics, basketball, and cross country. He enjoys anything competitive, playing catch with his brothers, and printing shirts in his entrepreneur class. He wants to major in business and run a business, along with going on mission trips and youth leading.
