Tabor College’s Spring Oratorio concert will be 7 p.m. May 8 at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.
The spring event features a selection of works by Antonio Vivaldi and will showcase student, faculty, and community performers.
The concert will open with “Concerto for Strings in C Minor” and will feature Sheila Litke, professor of piano at Tabor.
Vocal solos will be performed by Nicholas Ediger of Hillsboro, Casey Guthals of Manhattan, Olivia Kliewer of Hillsboro, Rachael Morris of Kansas City, Krista Neifert of Pratt, Zach Neumann of Osborn, Ruth Springer of Berryton, and professor Holly Schwartzendruber.
The concert also will include “Concert in C Major for Violin, Oboe, Organ, and Strings.” Wichita Symphony Orchestra violinist Adrienne Dougherty, adjunct instructor of oboe Haley Roe and organist Christopher Shaw will perform.
