Dale and Tootsie Snelling attended a Mother’s Day and birthday party May 14 at Goessel Park. They also attended the graduation of their granddaughter, Molly Hess, from Marion High School and a reception for her afterward at Marion County Lake hall.

Janet Cress spent May 19 with her daughter Shealah West, in Newton.

Guests of John and Denise Lang for Mother’s Day Celebration May 13th included Jessica Maddox, Dana and Dayton of Strong City, Jaimie Lang of Emporia, and Johnny Lang of Augusta. Johnny also visited them May 19 and 20.

Bill and Margie Williams met Gary and Terry Williams, and Gayla Soyez and Samiah at a Newton restaurant May 14 for a Mother’s Day dinner. The Williamses spent a night with Margie’s sister, Thelma Thigpen, and traveled to Harrell, Arkansas, before attending the funeral of Sylvia Williams, Bill’s sister. They returned home May 18.

Doni Rogers and Louise Shumate traveled to El Dorado on May 17.
