Sharon McCubbin

A celebration of life service for Sharon McCubbin, 73, of Camdenton, Missouri, was Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel in Lebanon, Missouri, with Pastor Mike Puckett officiating.

She was born Nov. 24, 1943, in Florence, Kansas. She is survived by her husband Jay of the home; three sons, Todd Carpenter and wife, Diane, of Marion, Kansas; Tim Carpenter and wife, Lenora, of Olathe, Kansas; Stacey Carpenter and wife, Jennie, of Fort Worth, Texas; stepdaughter, Tammy Fisher and husband, Michael, of Marshalltown, Iowa; stepsons, Micky McCubbin of Eldora, Iowa; Cameron McCubbin and wife, Debbie, of Liscomb, Iowa; four brothers, Ron White and wife, Becky, of Redding, California; Ted White and wife, Sally, of Sedona, Arizona; Jerry White of Wichita, Kansas; Jim White and wife, Paula, of Topeka, Kansas; two sisters, Marilyn Honeycut of Waco, Texas, and Beverly Gournelos and husband, Dimitrios, of Silver Springs, Maryland; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Doug White.

She owned and operated the Deepwater Inn in Sunrise Beach, Missouri. She also owned and operated the Harvest House in Harrisonville, Missouri.

Memorials have been suggested to the Dogwood Animal Shelter, and can be left at or mailed to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel, P.O. Box 948, Lebanon MO 65536.
