Hillsboro homemaker Ruth E. Ratzlaff, 94, died July 6 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.

Born Nov. 7, 1921, to Henry K. and Margaret (Harms) Warkentin in Reedley, California, she married Kermit Ratzlaff on Aug. 11, 1944, in Los Angeles.

He survives along with sons Ken of Lawrence; Ron of St. Charles, Missouri; Dave of Batavia, Illinois; and Eugene of Hopewell Junction, New York; daughter Marilyn Lovinger of Nevada, Missouri; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church. Pastor Loyal Martin will officiate. Interment will be at 10 a.m. at Hillsboro M.B. Cemetery.

Family members will receive guests from 6 to 8 tonight at Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.

Memorials have been established with M.B. Missions and Hillsboro Senior Center.
