Feb. 18 — Police investigated an individual driving under the influence on Ash St., a dog complaint in the 300 block of S. Ash St., and a reckless driver on Indigo Rd. south of Hillsboro.

Feb. 19 — Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of N. Main St.

Feb. 20 — An individual reported two runaway juveniles. Upon investigation, the juveniles had already been located and brought in by parents.

Feb. 21 — Officers assisted sheriff’s deputies with two accidents, one involving an injury. Officers investigated a report of a subject selling door to door without a permit.

Multiple warnings for driving with obstructed windshields were issued to subjects who failed to adequately clear ice from vehicle windows.

Thursday — Officer investigated a report of an argument involving a parent and child in the 200 block of S. Main St. A warning for driving with an obstructed windshield was issued.

Friday — Officers investigated a report of a possible drunk driver on Indigo Rd.

Saturday — Officers assisted motorists in the 400 block of N. Ash St. and on US-56.

Feb. 11 — Officers investigated a report of a dog at large in the 200 block of E. Main St. but were not able to locate the dog.

Feb. 12 — Officers responded to OASIS for a delayed report of battery, spoke with parents in the 400 block of N. Lincoln St., and took a juvenile into protective custody.

Feb. 13 — Officers investigated a report of a dog at large in the 800 block of E. Main St. but were not able to locate the dog.

Feb. 14 — Officers assisted sheriff’s deputies serving an arrest warrant in the 200 block of N. Cedar St. Officers investigated a report of possible harassment. Officers assisted Hillsboro Police Department with a DUI driver at Adams St. and US-56.

Feb. 15 — Officers investigated a report of a dog at large in the 1200 block of E. Main St. but were not able to locate the dog.

Feb. 20 — Officers euthanized a sick skunk at the sewer ponds.

Thursday — Officers investigated a non-injury accident in the 300 block of S. Roosevelt St.

Friday — Officers investigated a report of a dog at large at Cedar and Main Sts. but were not able to locate the dog. Officers investigated a report of a dog at large in the 300 block of S. 4th St., took the dog to Animal Health Center, and returned a call to the dog’s owner.

Saturday — Officers investigated a report of two dogs at large in the 700 block of S. Roosevelt St., contacted the owner, and the issue was taken care of. Officers investigated a dog bite in the 500 block of S. Freeborn St.

Feb. 22 — Officers performed an outside assist to Kansas Dept. of Children and Families for a welfare check on a child.

Feb. 24 — Devon T. Cockreel, 21, Nashville, Tennessee, arrested on local traffic charges and for a warrant out of Tennessee.
