INCIDENT REPORTS
Law enforcement agencies provided these reports of their activities this past week. Routine activities such as patrols, inspections, training, report-writing, and assistance to other agencies are excluded.
HILLSBORO
Jan. 1 — A damaged mailbox, a dog’s frozen water supply, and an attempted break-in in the 300 block of N. Lincoln St. were investigated. Traffic tickets for equipment violations were issued, and reports of multiple water leaks were relayed.
Jan. 2 — Another water leak was noticed.
Jan. 3 — Lost property was returned, and a ticket for failure to yield right of way was issued.
Thursday — Police searched for a missing dog and ticketed a motorist for illegal tag display.
Friday — A non-injury accident in the 200 block of N. Lincoln St. and a suspicious person hanging around a business were investigated.
Saturday — A harassment complaint was investigated, and traffic tickets were issued for an equipment violation and for failing to stop at a stop sign. Juveniles out after curfew were contacted, and an arrest warrant alleging four counts of identity fraud was served. (See separate story.)
Sunday — A suspicious phone call and another report of an animal not being cared for were investigated.
