Nov. 20 — Officers patrolled school zones, investigated a complaint of a child riding a small motorcycle on the street, wrote a citation for failure to yield right of way, and took a dog-at-large complaint.

Nov. 21— Police investigated an unattended death. Officers investigated a complaint of barking dogs, assisted a citizen with a civil matter involving a motor vehicle purchase, and investigated an accident at US-56 and Nighthawk Rd.

Nov. 22 — Officers recovered a stolen firearm, assisted with a child custody dispute, and wrote a citation for failure to yield right of way.

Nov. 23 — Officers assisted with an out-of-control juvenile. Officers investigated a suspicious person in the 300 block of S. Ash, a hit and run accident involving a gas meter, and a domestic disturbance in the 500 block of E. Grand Ave.

Nov. 24 — Officers investigated illicit use of a prescription medication and a non-injury accident in the 200 block of S. Madison.

Nov. 25 — Officers investigated a report of a broken vehicle window in the 700 block of S. Washington.

Peabody police chief Bruce Burke was unavailable when contacted Tuesday to provide an activity report.

Reporters went to Marion police department multiple times to obtain a weekly activity report and offense reports, but found no one in the office. The last activity report from Marion ran Aug. 2.
