SHERIFF’S

Burglary

The U.S. Post Office in Lost Springs was forcibly entered sometime between 5 p.m. Oct. 26 and 9:15 a.m. Oct. 27. Jessica Moenning, 38, Lost Springs, reported that a window, valued at $50, was damaged; stolen property included a $2,000 Ingenico credit card machine, a $1,000 mail scanner and dock, and $7 of miscellaneous office items.

Criminal damage to property, felony

A picture window at Florence Public Library, valued at $1,300, was reported by Mary Jane Grimmet, 67, Florence, to have been broken sometime between 7 p.m. July 6 and 2:45 p.m. July 7. Reporting deputy Wilma Mueller indicated the alleged perpetrator was suspected of using alcohol, drugs, or narcotics.

Criminal damage to property

Two tires belonging to Linda Heath, 69, Florence, valued at $600, were damaged in an alley in the 100 block of 5th St., Florence, sometime between Aug. 13 and Sept. 15.

Battery, physical contact in rude, insulting, angry manner

Amanda Brown, 26, Ramona, reported being the victim of battery by the use of a personal weapon (fists, hands, feet, etc.) at her residence in the 300 block of N. D St., Ramona, between 11:15 and 11:30 p.m. Oct. 27. Reporting officer Michael Ottensmeier indicated the offender, an in-law, was suspected of using drugs or narcotics.
