Marion

Burglary

Darryl J. Brewer, 57, Marion, reported the theft of a 1993 Polaris 4X4 350L ATV, valued at $2,000, from an unlocked shed at 316 S. Grant St. between 4 p.m. Aug. 3 and 6:30 a.m. Friday.

Criminal damage to property

City of Marion reported approximately $20 of damage to a light cover in Central Park at 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

SHERIFF’S

Possession of stolen property; criminal damage to property

A stolen 1997 Chevrolet pickup owned by Rodney Markley, Abilene, and valued at $8,000 was recovered in Lincolnville after it struck a garage owned by Greg Hubbard in the 200 block of Lombard St. Criminal damage totaled at $24,000 was done to the home and a 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Criminal damage to property

About $200 worth of corn in a field on Falcon Rd. between 230th and 240th Rds. belonging to James Enns, Hillsboro, was damaged between 7 p.m. July 29 and 8:30 a.m. July 30.

Criminal damage to property

Byran Noeth reported to Marion County sheriff that a door at Ramona City Park valued at $500 was damaged between 9:30 p.m. July 31 and 8:52 p.m. Aug. 1.

Theft

Joseph Knife, 20, Ft. Riley, reported that between 12:42 a.m. July 14 and 2 p.m. July 16 radios, stereo speakers, and stereo amp valued at a total of $450 was taken from along US-56 near Marion.+
