Don’s Heating and Air will open in Hillsboro on Tuesday, located at 603 N. Ash St.

Owner Tom Storrer said he has always loved Hillsboro and the surrounding area and has wanted to set up business here for several years.

His father, Don, started the business in El Dorado many years ago, and Tom took over after his father retired in 2003.

Storrer said he is familiar with Hillsboro because his company has worked on new construction in the Hillsboro school district since the mid-1980s. The company continues to provide maintenance for the district.

Storrer said he wants to become a part of the community and to offer local employment. He was conducting interviews for a secretary Monday.

The company will provide residential and commercial replacements, new construction, and residential and commercial service.

Storrer said he plans to offer plumbing in the future.
