Burns correspondent
A group of Burns United Methodist Church women went to Asbury Park in Newton on Oct. 1. Those in the group were Lucille Robinson, Beverly Morgan, Evelyn Sidener, Dorene Kirkpatrick, and Joyce Kyle. They visited Ivan and Margaret Morgan and Eleanor Davidson. Laverna Parish met them for lunch. Dorene, Laverna, and Joyce visited Don and Twilah Nightengale in the afternoon.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale had Sunday dinner Oct. 1 at Brad and Diane Nightengale’s in El Dorado.
Dalen and Beth Koehn, Cody, and Jessica were dinner guests Oct. 1 of Renferd, Wanda, and Lonnie Koehn. Renferd and Wanda visited Nathan Koehn in Moundridge later that day. On Oct. 6, Wanda visited Sherol Nightengale in the afternoon.
Beth Wolf called on Marie Clark in the afternoon Oct. 5.
Jim and Beulah Gehring called on Joyce Kyle Oct. 5. In the evening, Joyce went with Bob and Becky Kyle to the Tabor-Sterling football game in Hillsboro to watch Braxton Kyle play football.
