Marlene Eitzen

Services for Marlene Eitzen, 86, who died Sunday at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church, rural Hillsboro.

Pastor Darren Rempel will officiate. Interment will be at Ebenfeld Cemetery.

Relatives will receive friends 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.

Born June 24, 1939, in Marion County to Victor and Evelyn (Ediger) Dirks, she married Stanley Eitzen on Oct. 24, 1958, in Buhler. He preceded her in death in 2009.

Survivors include son Randy Eitzen of rural Peabody, daughter Deanna Gale of Abilene, sister Evon Packard of Kansas City, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Memorials have been established with the church and Barry Ward.
