Lois Krause

Lois Krause, 76, died April 27 at Hillsboro Community Hospital.

She was born July 15, 1939, to Glen and Wilma (Bitner) Maltbie in Marion.  

She owned a hair salon.  

She married Andy Krause on July 9, 1954, in Hutchinson.  

Survivors include: spouse, Andy Krause of Hillsboro; sons, Doug Krause of Eldon, Missouri, and Andrew Krause of Leander, Texas; daughter, Angie Dearmond of Austin, Texas; brother, Charlie Maltbie of Salina; sisters, Margie Osgood of Newton, and Connie Parcal of El Dorado; 11 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.  

A service was held Saturday at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

Memorials are requested for St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
