Lenora Woelk

Lenora “Lou” Woelk, 87, died Saturday at Bethesda Home in Goessel.

A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro.

Family will receive guests from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.  

She was born Nov. 7, 1928, to Abraham and Katharina (Buller) Reimer in Goessel.  

She married Harold Woelk on May 20, 1948, in Goessel.  

Survivors include husband Harold of Hillsboro; son Jim Woelk of Gunnison, Colorado; sisters Milda Reimer and Linda Bartel, both of Goessel; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.  

She was predeceased by her daughter Kathy Gray in 2008.
