EXPANDED EULOGIES

Margo Franta-Abdalla

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church for Margo Renae Franta-Abdalla, 62, Humansville, Missouri, who passed away Saturday evening, April 10, 2021, in Humansville, Missouri, at the Northwood Hills Care Center.

She was born Oct. 18, 1958, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the second of three daughters born to Arnold and Peggy Franta.

She graduated from Hickman Mills High School in 1977 and continued her education at Longview and Penn Valley Community Colleges in Kansas City, Missouri.

She worked as a nursing assistant at St. Luke’s hospital in Kansas City before her children were born. She was very proud of their accomplishments and her greatest joy was when she was able to spend time with them.

Margo is survived by three daughters, Laura Franta-Abdalla (and husband, Steve Seh), Sarah Abdalla, and Rebeka Jones, both of Atlanta, Georgia; and son Michael, Miami, Florida; sisters, Karla (and husband, Craig) Wilson, Bolivar, Missouri, and Celeste (and husband, Ken) Barry, Norris, Tennessee; four nieces and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Arnold “Arnie” and Margaret “Peggy” Franta.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. We will always remember her beautiful smile, her warm sense of humor, and her indomitable spirit. May she live on in all that knew and loved her.

Donations may be made in her memory to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Margo was an adventurous person, charismatic and generous, deeply caring about the people she knew. She had fond memories of growing up in the “house on the corner,” with the sinuous backyard hedge tree and its sheltering canopy, playtime adventures with her sisters, and joining them each fall to pick up the dropped rotted apples in their backyard and wheelbarrow them over to the family’s large garden plot.

Her family will gather with friends at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Pilsen, for her Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Fr. Brian Bebak. She will be laid to rest in the Pilsen Cemetery. Yazel-Megli Funeral Home, Marion is serving the family.

Please sign her online guestbook and leave a memory of Margo at www.ymzfh.com.
