Retired banker Harold Jacob Wiebe, 89, died Dec. 21 at Hillsboro Community Hospital.  

Born April 22, 1927, to J.D. and Selma (Flaming) Wiebe in Hillsboro, he married Carol Barb on March 29, 1957, in Ellsworth.

She survives along with sons Warran D Wiebe and Wade D. Wiebe of Lawrence and Ward D. Wiebe of Branson, Missouri; 11 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.  

Services were Friday at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church with burial at Gnadenau Cemetery.  

A memorial has been established with Kanakuk Ministries.
