A free screening for children birth to 5 years of age will be from 9a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 11 in Marion.

Vision and hearing, along with cognitive, motor, speech/language, and social/emotional development will be checked. The process usually takes at least one hour.

Marion County Early Intervention Services sponsors the screening.
