Foundation opens new grant cycle
Community organizations with a project or program to enhance Peabody and its residents may apply for a grant from Peabody Community Foundation for its 2017 grant cycle.
Grants are available from the Peabody Endowment Fund and the Kansas Health Fund. Applications for the latter fund must be for projects related to health.
Qualified applicants must have Internal Revenue Service 501(c)(3), be an exempt organization such as an educational institution, church, city or county, or be formally linked to a qualifying organization.
The amount requested and types of applications will determine the number of grants and size of awards.
PCF grants supported thirteen Peabody area charities or projects with $8,595 this year.
More information and an application can be found at centralkansascf.org under the “apply” tab. Applications are due by Jan. 6.
For answers to questions about the grant cycle, contact PCF administrative assistant Becky Nickel at admin@peabodycommunityfoundation.org or (620) 951-4022. PCF is an affiliate of Central Kansas Community Foundation.
Grant recipients will be announced Feb. 4 at Pancake Day at Peabody Senior Citizens’ Center.
