Foundation grants will address Peabody 'quality of life' issues

Staff writer

Peabody Community Foundation, an affiliate of Central Kansas Community Foundation, has announced the next cycle of community grants for eligible tax-exempt Peabody organizations.

The purpose of PCF grants is to promote community service and local projects, which must be for a charitable or civic purpose.

Qualified applicants must maintain a 501 (c)(3) status, be exempt under statute (church, city, educational institution), or be formally linked to an organization that carries that designation. Applications are available at www.centralkansascf.org.

“We are willing to help any applicant who is unsure about filing an online application,” PCF president Brad Nightengale said.

For more information or answers to questions about the 2016 PCF grant cycle, contact Nightengale at (620) 983-2181 or at brad@peabodystatebank.com.

Applications must be submitted online no later than 5 p.m. Jan. 11.
