Flu shot clinics scheduled this month and next

Flu shot clinics for people age 6 months and up will be offered by Marion County Health Department.

A clinic at Goessel School will be from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 17. A clinic at Hillsboro Middle School will be from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 30.

Marion County Health Department will have flu shot clinics from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 20; 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 27; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 4; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 25.

The price is $37 for regular flu shots and $65 for high dose flu shots given to people over 65. The health department can bill Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and KanCare. People with other insurance will pay at the time they get the shot and can submit a claim to their insurance company.
