Florence Chamber of Commerce heard Thursday from a Lawrence consultant who visited Crystal Springs, source of Florence’s water supply.

Informational sign at 5th and Main Sts. was repaired and painted by Roger Johnson.

Consultant Dale Nimz has been surveying farms in Douglas County to preserve and restore old farm buildings.

Bob Gale announced that Market on Main was scheduled to have resumed Tuesday, June 7.

Lunch was provided by Flint Hills Market and Bakery.

The next meeting will be July 7 at Veterans Park.
