March 21

12:45 a.m. — Peabody ambulance, Peabody fire, Peabody rescue, and Peabody police were called to assist Harvey County in locating a reported rollover accident on US-50 between Peabody and Walton. The call turned out to be a hoax, as the woman made the call from a Wichita parking lot.

9:35 a.m. — After Marion was not available, Peabody ambulance performed an advanced-life-support transfer from St. Luke to Wesley Medical Center.

2:17 p.m. — Peabody fire was called to a grass, tree, and round bale fire near 110th and Limestone Rds. After only one firefighter had shown up at 2:24 p.m., Marion fire was called as mutual aid.

3:12 p.m. — Dispatchers reported a call about trees that had “spontaneously caught fire in the middle of a field” near 290th and Limestone Rds. Tampa fire responded.

4:59 p.m. — A person in their 70s who had fallen was transported by Florence ambulance from the 800 block of Main St. to St. Luke Hospital.

March 22

3:35 a.m. — Lost Springs fire was called to the 340th and Remington Rds. for hay bales and trees on fire.

7:29 p.m. — A person who had fallen in the 300 block of S. Ash St. had, according to dispatchers, reportedly gotten up and “left in a vehicle.” Hillsboro ambulance did not find anyone at the scene.

9:05 p.m. — Marion ambulance performed an advanced-life-support transfer from Hillsboro Community Hospital to Wesley Medical Center.

9:28 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance performed a basic-life-support from HCH to Wesley.

THURSDAY

1:40 p.m. — Lost Springs fire responded to a grass fire at Vista Rd. near the Dickinson County line. Hillsboro fire also responded.

8:34 p.m. — Marion ambulance performed a basic-life-support transfer from St. Luke to Newton Medical.

9:25 p.m. — An elderly woman who fell in the 700 block of Plum St. was transported by Peabody ambulance to Newton Medical.

10:27 p.m. — Marion ambulance was called to the 100 block of S. 1st St. for a man whose legs reportedly gave out causing him to fall. No transportation was specified.

FRIDAY

7:43 a.m. — Marion ambulance transported a woman with chest pains from the 900 block of E. A St. in Hillsboro to HCH. Hillsboro as first response also was at the scene.

5:47 p.m. — Florence ambulance and Peabody ambulance were called to the 100 block of S. Olive St. in Peabody by an officer performing a welfare check. A person was transported to Newton Medical.

SATURDAY

No calls were recorded.

SUNDAY

5:27 a.m. — A man having heart problems in the 1100 block of Denver St. was transported to St. Luke.

8:08 a.m. — Marion ambulance performed an advanced-life-support from St. Luke to Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita.

10:22 a.m. — A woman who had fallen in a restroom at Parkside Homes was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to HCH.

11:38 a.m. — A woman having a seizure at Trinity Mennonite Church was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to HCH.

4:38 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance performed a basic-life-support transfer from HCH to Newton Medical.

5:03 p.m. — Dispatchers paged Durham fire for a report of a large grass fire described as being north of Durham and west of K-15. At the time of the dispatch, a fire fighter in a private vehicle just north of the county line and west of K-15 reported that a fire there was a controlled burn. Another firefighter in a private vehicle drove from Durham to the county line and did not find any other fires.

monday

4:44 a.m. — A woman having what dispatchers reported as “a mental breakdown” on 150th Rd. between Diamond and Eagle Rds. prompted Tampa ambulance and Hillsboro ambulance to be called to the scene. No transportation was provided.

6:47 p.m. — A woman in her 90s was transported from the 200 block of N. 4th St. to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.
