According to fire and ambulance transmissions monitored by the newspaper:

June 28

1:02 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported to St. Luke Hospital a man in his 50s who had fallen from the 200 block of Walnut St. in Marion.

2:21 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported to St. Luke a woman in her 80s who was reported to be having a diabetic reaction in the 500 block of N. Freeborn St. in Marion.

2:26 a.m. — Peabody ambulance transported to Newton Medical Center a woman who suffered a possible hip fracture after a fall at Bethesda Homes. Goessel first responders also were dispatched.

4:45 p.m. — Peabody ambulance transported to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis in Wichita a person who reportedly ruptured an aorta.

10:10 p.m. — Marion ambulance transported to St. Luke a woman who was conscious but not alert at Hilltop Apartments.

June 29

2:28 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.

1:09 p.m. — Peabody ambulance transported a person to St. Luke. No details were available.

6:32 p.m. — Florence firefighters were called to a garage fire reportedly caused by fireworks in Peabody.

Thursday

5:02 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported to Hillsboro Community Hospital a man in his 80s who had fallen and hit his head at Parkside Homes.

1:38 p.m. — Marion ambulance transported from the 1500 block of E. Lawrence St. to St. Luke a man in his 80s who had fallen and was bleeding from his head.

5:54 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported to HCH a man who was having a hard time staying conscious in the 400 block of S. Ash St.

friday

6:41 p.m. — Hillsboro firefighters and EMTs were dispatched to a false alarm at Hillsboro Community Hospital.

Saturday

5:50 p.m. — Marion firefighters and EMTs were dispatched to K-150 near Wagonwheel Rd. for a vehicle that had been struck by lightning. No transportation was provided.

11:31 p.m. — Florence firefighters were dispatched to the 200 block of W. 5th St. for an electric meter with sparks coming from it.

SUNDAY

10:14 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transferred a patient from HCH to Wesley.

11:55 p.m. — Florence ambulance, a Hillsboro EMT, and a coroner were called to the 100 block of N. Roosevelt St. in Marion for a person who passed out but was not coming to.

monday

1:31 a.m. — Peabody ambulance transported to HCH a woman from Parkside Homes whose oxygen levels were low.

3:25 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported to Newton Medical a woman having hip pain from the 400 block of E. Marion St. in Goessel.

5:34 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transferred a patient from HCH to Wesley.

6:11 a.m. — Marion ambulance transported to St. Luke a person with unspecified symptoms in 500 block of N. Cedar St.

6:40 p.m. — Florence ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Newton Medical.

8:25 p.m. — Peabody ambulance was stationed at the city fireworks display and investigated several minor complaints but did not provide transportation.

10:45 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported to HCH a child having a seizure at the old Dari-Ette in Hillsboro.
