Nov. 16

6:28 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was called to US-56 between Lehigh and the McPherson County line for a woman who ran out of gas, was suffering from osteoporosis among other disabilities and was complaining of being cold. She was transported to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

7:43 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a woman for unspecified reasons from the 100 block of N. Jefferson St. to HCH.

10:32 p.m. — Peabody ambulance performed an advanced-life-support transport from St. Luke Hospital to Newton Medical Center.

TUESDAY

4:47 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to Parkside Homes for an emergency transport to HCH.

5:59 p.m. — Hillsboro fire and Lehigh fire responded to Maria and Case Sts. in Lehigh for a natural gas line that broke. A gas company employee fixed the leak, and fire departments were dismissed.

WEDNESDAY

2:16 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transfered a patient from Wesley Medical Center in Wichita to HCH.

5:35 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance, Goessel first response, and Goessel fire responded to K-15 and 140th Rd. for an accident. No injuries were reported.

5:51 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 1500 block of E. Lawrence St. for a man having difficulty breathing. The man refused transport.

11:32 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 1500 block of E. Lawrence St. for the same man with breathing difficulties. The man once again refused transport.

THURSDAY

4:17 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a woman having difficulty breathing from Walmart Neighborhood Market to HCH.

5:37 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 200 block of S. Birch St. for a man having breathing and bleeding problems. He was transported to HCH.

Friday

6:05 a.m. — Florence ambulance responded to the 800 block of Barker St. for a man who had fallen.

10:37 a.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to the 100 block of N. Olive St. for a man in his 50s who had fallen the night before and was having knee pain. He was transported to St. Luke.

1:17 p.m. — Peabody ambulance transported a patient from St. Luke to his home in Peabody.

4:46 p.m. — Marion fire, Hillsboro fire, Hillsboro ambulance, and Tampa fire responded to Limestone Rd. between 220th and 230th Rds.

11:41 p.m. — Hillsboro fire responded again to Limestone Rd. between 220th and 230th Rds. after a caller reported some smoke. A couple of hot spots were extinguished.

Saturday

9:47 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a reportedly intoxicated individual from a parking lot of Parkside Homes to HCH.

11:40 a.m. — Hillsboro fire were called to near Quailcreek Rd. and US-56 for a trailer axle that was smoking, but were told to disregard.

3:58 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to the 100 block of W. Division St. for a male in his 40s having chest pains. He was transported to Newton Medical.

10:56 p.m. — Marion ambulance transported a man having chest pains from the 1500 block of E. Main St. to St. Luke.
