Oct. 6

8:26 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a woman in her 90s who reportedly couldn’t move her right side from Bethesda Homes in Goessel to Newton Medical Center.

1:44 p.m. — Peabody ambulance performed an advanced-life-support transfer from St. Luke to an unspecified location.

9:23 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a man in his 90s who was reportedly not feeling well from Parkside Homes to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

Oct. 7

12:09 a.m. — Hillsboro fire responded to the men’s dormitories at Tabor College for a fire alarm in the Upper level of the California building. The alarm was reset.

3:01 a.m. — Marion ambulance performed a basic-life-support transfer from St. Luke to Wesley Medical Center.

9:36 a.m. — Marion ambulance and Marion fire responded to St. Luke for a fire alarm. No fire was discovered.

9:59 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance and Goessel first responders responded to the 800 block of Alamo Rd. for a man in his 80s who had fallen and was having difficulty getting up. The call then turned into an ALS transport, and Hillsboro transported the man to Wesley Medical Center, meeting up with Harvey Co. medics along the way.

4:24 p.m. — Peabody ambulance transported a man in his 30s having chest pains from the 400 block of N. Locust St. to Newton Medical.

THURSDAY

1:50 a.m. — Marion ambulance transported a woman having stomach pains from the 200 block of N. Thorp St. to St. Luke.

4:51 a.m. — Marion ambulance performed a BLS transport from St. Luke to Wesley Medical.

10:58 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 300 block of S. Cedar St. for a woman who reportedly had a seizure, fell, and hit her face. Transportation was not specified in system recordings.

8:25 p.m. — Hillsboro fire responded to Ampride for a gas spill of approximately 15 gallons on the pavement. Firefighters cleaned up the spill.

10:43 p.m. — Florence ambulance responded for a woman who reportedly overdosed in the 200 block of W. 5th St. Transportation was not specified.

Friday

1:22 p.m. — Peabody ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Via Christi.

3:53 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the intersection of 190th and Limestone Rds. for a one-vehicle injury accident involving a woman in her 60s. The woman went to a hospital via private vehicle.

5:44 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance performed a BLS transfer from HCH to St. Luke.

7:38 p.m. — Marion ambulance was called to respond to Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market in Hillsboro for a person having a seizure. Hillsboro ambulance informed dispatchers that they were finished with their transfer and could take the call, so Marion was dismissed. Hillsboro transferred the person to HCH. Hillsboro fire was called for lifting assistance.

10:00 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to the 300 block of N. Olive St. per officer request for a man having chest pains. The man was not transported.

Saturday

9:11 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a man who was suffering a possible stroke from 280th Rd. between Limestone and Kanza Rds. near Durham to McPherson Hospital. Durham first responders also responded.

7:43 p.m. — Peabody fire and Peabody ambulance were called to the intersection of 50th and Nighthawk Rds. for a two-vehicle accident. One person was air-lifted from the Peabody football field to Via Christi— St. Francis.

8:16 p.m. — Burns fire and Florence fire responded to A Rd. between 40th and 50th Rds. near Burns for a structure on fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire.

10:52 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a woman who was having trouble breathing from the 700 block of Lawrence St. in Durham to HCH. Durham first responders also responded.

sunday

11:22 a.m. — Marion fire, Hillsboro fire, and Florence fire responded to the 900 block of Highland St. for a vehicle on fire. Live ammunition and fuel were reported to be in a shed near the vehicle. The shed also caught on fire, sustaining heavy damage.

11:45 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance performed a BLS transfer from HCH to St. Luke.

1:40 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to the 300 block of N. Olive St. for a man having difficulty breathing. The man refused transportation.

Monday

2:27 p.m. — Tampa ambulance responded to 360th Rd. between Sunflower and Remington Rds. after an alarm company notified dispatchers of a woman needing help getting up. An individual then let dispatchers know that it was his mother-in-law and that he would be responding, but Tampa still arrived on scene. The woman refused transportation.
