Ramona resident Dennis Dean Ryff, 59, died Feb. 29 at Wichita.

A funeral service was March 4 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Herington. Burial followed at Lewis Cemetery, Ramona.

He was born May 3, 1956, to George H. and Rosetta A. (Kandt) Ryff in Salina.

He graduated in 1974 from Herington High School.

He married Donita Campbell on Dec. 27, 1974, at Herington.

He previously worked at Vogt Standard Service Station and Cardie Oil Company, and retired three years ago from Agri Producers.

He was a Boy Scout leader.

He is survived by his wife; son Tracy Ryff of White City; daughters Miranda Ryff of Topeka and Alyssa Huggins of El Dorado; brothers Larry Ryff of Hope, Phil Ryff of Ramona, and Tim Ryff of Elmo; sister Dian Schultz of Great Bend; and five grandchildren.
