Democrats support rally

Marion County Democrats voted Jan. 7 to support a Kansas People’s Agenda rally Jan. 11 in Topeka that will feature speakers sharing personal stories related to issues, music, and performing arts.

Chairwoman Eileen Sieger conducted the county meeting at Marion City Library.

Discussion focused on recruiting candidates, legislative matters, and communicating with newspaper legislators.

The next meeting will be at 9:30 a.m. March 4, also at the library.
