Dean Hill 72, formerly of Hillsboro, died Monday at Dole Veterans Administration Hospital in Wichita.

Born June 28, 1944, in Hillsboro to Adam E. and Helen (Shiroky) Hill, he was a Vietnam era Army veteran. He worked at Associated Milk Producers in Hillsboro, ran a lawnmower repair business in Newton, and worked in the maintenance department at Newton High School.

A brother, Charles Hill, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his sisters Loretta Holub of Marion and Wilma Loewen of Wichita and brothers Marvin Hill of Hillsboro and Adam Hill and Perry Hill, both of Newton.

Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. today at Petersen Funeral Home, Newton, with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Petersen Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
