Cassandra L. Beisly, 38, Emporia, was sentenced Jan. 23 to pay $1,013 and serve 48 hours in jail and a year’s probation for driving under the influence. Charges of possession of marijuana, having no proof of insurance, and not having valid registration were dismissed.

Clayton T. Lingenfelter, 25, Hillsboro, was sentenced Feb. 13 to 54 months in prison for three counts of violation of the Kansas Offender Registration Act. A charge of criminal possession of a weapon by a felon was dismissed.

Kelli Ann Olson, 48, Newton, entered a one-year diversion agreement Feb. 14 on a charge of domestic battery. Olson must abstain from use of alcohol or controlled substances unless prescribed, and not remain at any place where someone is using alcohol or controlled substances. She must undergo a domestic violence assessment and a drug and alcohol evaluation and provide copies of both to the county attorney’s office within 90 days and follow all recommendations. All other treatment and counseling must be completed within six months. She must serve 45 hours’ community service and provide proof that she completed it. She also must pay $528. She must have no contact with her husband, Ryan P. Olson, for one year. He filed for divorce Jan. 17.

Samuel I. Reffett. 40, Durham, pleaded no contest Jan. 10 to battery. A charge of disorderly conduct was dismissed.

Dustin D. Rodgers, 47, Newton, formally was charged Thursday with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Brandon S. Toon, 38, Florence, pleaded no contest Feb. 13 to two counts of possession of methamphetamine and one count of attempted trafficking of contraband in a correctional facility. Sentencing has not been scheduled. Dismissed were charges of possession of methamphetamine, two counts of criminal damage to property, three counts of possession of marijuana, four counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of driving without valid registration, and one count each of driving in violation of restrictions, driving while his license was suspended, criminal deprivation of a motor vehicle, criminal trespass, and driving with a defective mirror.
