Gary D. Williams pleaded no contest March 22 to rape; aggravated indecencies with a child dismissed. Sentenced July 7 to 97.5 months in prison and lifetime electronic monitoring; must submit specimen of blood or other biological sample if not previously submitted; informed of duty to register as sex offender; $438.

Derrick Ryan LaPlante, 116 N. Jefferson St., Hillsboro, criminal threat, sentenced June 27 to 12 months’ supervised probation; no contact with victims; must submit and pay costs of DNA registration; $1,138.

Amanda Sue Pontious, pleaded no contest July 27 to possession of methamphetamines; sentencing scheduled for Sept. 26.
