Heather Diane Bartlett, 1004 Congress St., Emporia, Sept. 28, pleaded not guilty to charges of pedestrian under the influence and interference with law enforcement, pretrial conference was scheduled to be Oct. 14.

Jeffrey Allen Miller, two counts aggravated indecent liberties with a child, two counts indecent solicitation of a child, furnishing alcohol to a minor for illicit purposes, furnishing alcohol to a minor, and breach of privacy (eavesdropping) amended Oct. 27 to one count aggravated indecent liberties with a child, one count indecent solicitation of a child, furnishing alcohol to a minor for illicit purposes, and furnishing alcohol to a minor.

Gary Tomlinson, 308 N. Walnut St., Hillsboro, found guilty Sept. 21 of attempted felony theft and criminal trespass. Sentencing was to be Nov. 2.

Melissa Ann Tajchman, 415 N. 3rd St., Marion, found guilty Sept. 21 of possession of marijuana, and transportation of liquor in an open container. Sentencing was to be Nov. 2.

Ronnie Carpenter, 311 N. B St., Ramona, pleaded guilty in two separate cases Sept. 21 to two counts of misdemeanor theft; charges dismissed in exchange for pleas were nonresidential burglary for first count, and nonresidential burglary and criminal damage to property for second count.

Ray E. Andrews, 520 N. Cedar St., Marion, found guilty Sept. 8 of disorderly conduct. Sentencing was to be Sept. 28.
