NEW ARRESTS

Malulani S. Bird, 39, Santa Fe, New Mexico. Arrested Saturday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, possessing marijuana, and having a defective taillight. Held in lieu of posting a $2,500 bond.

Alan D. Gillen, 62, Peabody, Arrested April 22 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated domestic battery by choking, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated battery, domestic battery, aggravated intimidation of a witness or victim, and disorderly conduct. Held in lieu of posting a $150,000 bond. Previously jailed March 2 for failing to appear in court, Jan. 10 and 11 on suspicion of domestic battery, and March 5 and 6, 2025, on suspicion of battery.
