NEW jailings

Paul F. Baatrup, 20, Newton, jailed Friday to serve a two-day sentence. Released Sunday. Previously jailed May 5 to 27; Sept. 22 to May 16; Jan. 31 to Feb. 3, 2020; May 14 to 15, 2019; and April 15, 2019, mostly for failure to appear in court and violation of the offender registration act.

Daniel L. Bowes, 44, Ramona, jailed Monday on a warrant alleging failure to appear in court. Released half an hour later on $7,500 bond. The jail roster does not list the type of bond.

Kenney C. Jost, 54, Lovington, New Mexico, arrested Saturday by Marion police on a warrant alleging failure to appear in court. Released two hours later on $1,500 surety bond. Previously jailed Feb. 20 to 21; Feb. 8, 2019; and Oct. 17, 2018, for failure to appear in court.

Steven A. Katz, 36, Hillsboro, jailed Friday to serve a two-day sentence. Released Sunday. Previously jailed June 25 to July 11 to serve a two-day sentence, June 13 to 20 to serve a seven-day sentence, and Aug. 2 on suspicion of aggravated domestic battery and criminal restraint

Jaysten L. McClure, 26, Wichita, arrested Monday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of probation violation. Previously jailed Sept. 21 to 23, 2019, on suspicion of possession of opiates and drug paraphernalia, having no drug tax stamp, and contributing to the misconduct of a child.
