Peabody Senior Center peppernut baking immediately following kitchen cleanup from lunch.

Friday

Veterans Day. Special program will be held at Peabody-Burns Elementary School at 2 p.m. in the multi-purpose room. The community is invited to attend and enjoy the students’ artwork, poems, and songs.

Saturday

Peabody Food Bank, 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Peabody United Methodist Church.

FFA Birds and Breakfast from 6 to 11:30 a.m. at Peabody Senior Center, cost by donation for FFA projects and trips.

At 11 a.m. Peabody-Burns High School band will escort Santa to his workshop in Towne West Square in Wichita.

One act play, “Sorry, Wrong Number,” at 7 p.m. in Brown Gymnasium by PBHS students.

Sunday

“Cinderella Wore Combat Boots,” one act play at 3 p.m. by PBHS students, Brown gymnasium.

Monday

Last day for peppernut baking at Peabody Senior Center.

Tuesday

Thanksgiving dinner at Peabody Senior Center.

Wednesday

Free community soup supper at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 6:30 p.m. followed at 7 p.m. by Guiness Book record holder of “retrorunning” world record, Aaron Yoder who will speak on his backward running.

Makeup meal at Peabody Senior Center, 5 p.m. Menu is chili, crackers, and cinnamon roll.
