Friday

Valentine’s Day classroom parties will start at 2:30 p.m. at Peabody-Burns Elementary School.

Saturday

Deadline to sign up for Peabody-Burns Recreation Commission trip to Kansas Underground Salt Museum on Feb. 20 at Hutchinson. Admission is $19 each and children younger than 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Bus leaves PBHS at 8:30 a.m. and returns at 2 p.m. No charge for transportation.

Sunday

P-B Recreation Commission sponsors pickup basketball and open weight room for adults from 2 to 4 p.m. each Sunday until March 13. No charge.

Monday

No school for Peabody-Burns students. Teachers will have staff development.

Peabody Senior Center will host Dr. Randolph Whitely after lunch. Dr. Whitely will talk about health issues for senior citizens.

Wednesday

Jim Truax will share Lenten devotions after lunch at Peabody Senior Center. Devotions will be offered every Wednesday during Lent.
