Prairie Lawn Cemetery board annual meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the city building. A regular meeting will take place following the annual meeting. The public is welcome.

Sunday

Peabody-Burns Recreation Commission sponsors open gym basketball and open weight room for adults, 2 to 4 p.m., Brown gymnasium and PBHS weight room. Every Sunday until March 13. No charge.

Monday

Peabody City Council meeting, 7 p.m. at Peabody city building.

Deadline to reserve a spot for the Blue DEF Tour at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 30, Intrust Bank Arena, sponsored by PBRC. Up and coming best bull riders. Admission $25 each, children younger than 13 must be accompanied by a parent. Call (620) 344-8380 for reservations.

Tuesday

Peabody Senior Center will welcome Chaplain Dan Floyd from Serenity Hospice who will speak after lunch and provide musical entertainment. To reserve a meal call (620) 983-2226 and leave a message if necessary.

Wednesday

Peabody Senior Center soup supper from 5:30 to 7 p.m. with entertainment by the McKinney sisters.
