Thursday
Seniors bake peppernuts at Peabody Senior Center after lunch. Volunteers needed.
Friday
Breakfast brunch at Peabody Senior Center, 9:30 a.m., reservations required. Menu: breakfast casserole, cinnamon roll cake or blueberry muffin, drink.
Saturday
Peabody-Burns Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization sponsors Free Family Fun Brunch, 10 to 10:30 a.m. Menu: biscuits and gravy and breakfast burritos. Kids games and activities from 10 a.m. to noon. Children must be accompanied by a parent.
Trunk or Treat from 5 to 7:30 p.m. downtown Peabody. Includes Zombie Hay Rack Ride from Santa Fe Park to city park. No charge, but a non-perishable food item is requested from each participant. Children younger than 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Halloween curfew is 8:30 p.m. until 5 a.m. Nov. 1. No one younger than 18 allowed on the streets unless accompanied by a parent, grandparent, or guardian.
Monday
PBHS Town Hall Meeting, 6:30 p.m., at PBHS, sponsored by Marion County Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition and featuring a presentation by PBHS Teens Against Destructive Activities.
