Ronnie and Patti Gaines met Kim Gaines, Brooke and Gunnar on Nov. 12, in Emporia for lunch and Brooke accompanied them home for the weekend.

Ronnie and Patti Gaines were hosts to a pre-Thanksgiving dinner Nov. 19. Their guests were Ty and Kim Gaines, Brooke and Gunnar of Emporia; Dustin Gaines of Wichita; Kenny and Roma Koehn, Shawn and Jeannie Koehn, Connor and T.J., all of Galva; and Kim Sutphin and Tanner, Carson, and Chandler, all of Valley Center.

Vernon and Judy Koehn, and Dalen and Beth Koehn, Cody, and Jessica, were supper guests of Renferd, Wanda, and Lonnie Koehn on Nov. 15 for a celebration of Judy’s birthday.

After church Nov. 20, Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Vernon and Judy Koehn, and Dalen, Beth, Cody, and Jessica Koehn took refreshments, and they all enjoyed a housewarming for Lonnie Koehn who, moved into his home near Burns.

Marie Clark was a guest at a pre-Thanksgiving dinner in the home of Mark and Lisa Johnson on Nov. 19 in Marion. Larry and Diane Nelson came by and took her on to Council Grove to Alyssa and D. J.’s and their family for a pre-Thanksgiving supper.

Diane Nelson and Marie Clark spent the day with Jen Stucky on Nov. 22.1

Lowell Larsen and Joyce Kyle attended Marion County Senior Citizens’ board meeting at Peabody Senior Center on Nov. 18.

Joyce attended the funerals of Robert Morgan and Michelle Cubbage during the past week.
