Bennett Holub

Bennett L. “Ben” Holub, 56, died Nov. 2 at home.

Services will be Friday at St. John Nepomucene Church, Holy Family Parish, Pilsen, with the Rosary at 10 a.m. and funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment will follow in Pilsen Cemetery.

He was born March 24, 1959, to Ernest and Ruby (Thomas) Holub in Marion, the youngest of seven children.

After graduating from Centre High School, he attended Brown-Mackie College in Salina. He served for six years as a Navy radioman and was employed by Hehr Glass, Newton. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Newton.

He is survived by five brothers: Dan Holub of Marion, Terry Holub of Loogootee, Indiana, Frank Holub of Niles, Michigan, Tim Holub of Cheney, and Lin Holub of Galion, Ohio; and a sister, Kathy Budd of Pine, Colorado.

A memorial fund has been established for the Fr. Kapaun Legacy Fund.
