Barbara Britton

Barbara J. Britton, 69, died Friday at Goessel.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.

She was born Aug. 1, 1946, to Howard and Wendella Arlene (Bauman) Wettestad at Clark, South Dakota.

Her husband, Richard Britton, preceded her in death.

Survivors include: son, Darryl Thiesen of Goessel; daughter, Daynna DuFriend of Andover; brothers, Ted Wettestad of Watertown, South Dakota, and Oliver Hatfield of Waco, Texas; sisters, Connie Worlie of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Katherine Hiebert of Goessel; Arlene Felberg of Watertown, South Dakota; Patricia Nuttbrock of Raymond, South Dakota; and four grandchildren.

A memorial has been established for Central Care Cancer Center.
