Matt K. Kangas, 31, Peabody, was arrested April 26 in Peabody on charges outlined in Marion County warrants stemming from a prior arrest on drug charges March 3 in Peabody as well as charges against him for the alleged burglary of a Peabody residence on April 5.
“In addition to charges on the warrants, charges also filed after his arrest April 26 include fleeing and eluding, interference with law enforcement, possession of methamphetamines, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of stolen property,” Police Chief Bruce Burke said.
Firearms allegedly stolen from the Peabody residence on April 5 were recovered shortly after the burglary, while police continued their investigation of the incident.
Kangas was booked into Marion County jail.
