These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

Kanza Rd. east of 140th Rd.

Sheldon W. Wiens, 25, Hillsboro, hit a deer with his 1998 Chevrolet C1500 pickup at 6:45 p.m. Jan. 17. He reported the accident the next morning.

US-56 north of 340th Rd.

Arturo Zepeda, 58, Salina, jack-knifed a 2016 Freightliner semi , owned by Pratt Industries of Wichita into a ditch on icy roads at 1:11 p.m. Jan. 22.

120th Rd. east of Eagle Rd.

Windy, snowy weather caused Clay D. Martin, 17, rural Goessel, to lose control of a 2001 Ford Ranger at 6:13 p.m. Jan. 22.

The truck, owned by Dani E. Martin of the same address, ended up on its side in a ditch. No injuries were reported.

Sunflower Rd. north of 110th Rd.

Floyd S. Myers III, 50, Marion, lost control of a 1998 Ford Ranger on icy roads at 7:42 p.m. Jan. 22.

The pickup, owned by J.L. Unruh LLC of rural Newton, overturned in a ditch and had to be towed.

Neither Myers nor passengers Carolyn, 46; Laura, 20; and Floyd IV, 17, all of the same address, reported being injured.

330th Rd. east of Bison Rd.

Bradley T. Stone, 21, Durham, over-steered and lost control of his 2002 Chevy C1500 on icy roads at 7:30 a.m. Jan. 23.

His pickup had to be towed.

US-50 west of Sunflower Rd.

A wheel that came off an unidentified vehicle at 4:15 p.m. Jan. 23 bounced into the hood and windshield of a 2013 Toyota Corolla owned and driven by Bailey C. Brown, 30, Wichita.

She did not report injuries, but her car had to be towed.
