Rod and Gun Club members can now enjoy picnicking in comfort. A new shelter house was completed near the Rod and Gun Lake northeast of town.

John Wohlgemuth, son of Mrs. Orlan C. Wohlgemuth of Peabody, has been awarded an honor scholarship from Tabor College for the 1966-67 academic year.

McGee’s Department Store is quitting business in Peabody.
