Nearly 100 third graders from Marion, Hillsboro, and Centre learned about agriculture Friday at the county fairgrounds in Hillsboro.

FFA students presented 10-minute sessions about farm equipment, safety, and animals.

From Hillsboro — Anslee Brewer and Ashley Peters, ag trivia; Keitra Edwards, horses; Cooper Hefley and Landen Hein, planting equipment; Kenzie Meisinger, cattle; and Colby Suderman, grains.

From Marion — Auryona Countryman, entomology; Teegan Kraus, combines; Ella Mackey, horticulture and gardening; Lane and Colt Smith, swine; Calleigh and Hitch Soyez, sheep; and Luke Watkins hay balers.

From Peabody-Burns — Reese Duerksen and Claire Morey, goats.
