Six portraits painted by Jan Davis are now on display in the lobby of Farmers and Drovers Bank in Marion. According to Davis, she created them from photos and did the painting last fall and spring semesters in classes toward her Masters degree in Fine Arts at Emporia State University.

“Sweet Country Wine,” a four-piece band from Cottonwood Falls, will play at the New Year’s Eve party at Marion Country Club according to Mr. and Mrs. Larry D. Loomis, committee chairmen.
