Jim Cox is pictured presenting a $1,000 check to Lisa Clark, winner of that prize in the Instant Food and Treasure contest promotion going on now at Jim’s Jack and Jill in Peabody.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday for John Slocombe who died after a brief illness.

Paul and Shirley Windsor, now of Wichita, are moving to Peabody this week. They will be at home at 207 N. Olive.
