John T. Brooks and family have moved from their farm to their city residence “for sure.”

Peabody Post #89 of the Grand Army of the Republic and the Women’s Relief Corps held memorial services in their hall Saturday afternoon, at the time of the funeral of General W.T. Sherman.

Jas. Davis has moved his tin shop into the building next door north of the Red Front. He is also getting in a lot of new goods, and invites special attention to his 10 cent counter, and also his complete line of tin work. Tin work done to order.
